Rodgers and Crosby bail out McCarthy. Those two run plays after the PI, and playing for a 55-yard FG, was crazy shit. Dallas returned the favor by not running the ball on the last drive at least once to kill the clock. GB would not have called TO there, because Dallas was driving for potential TD.

I didn't understand why Dallas spiked the ball to stop the clock costing them a down. With around 50 seconds left. Made no sense

Thought same thing. Terrible mistake. They were playing for a FG the whole way, but the clock management was like they were in 4-down territory.

A vetern QB keeps playing, but with a rookie QB you have to spike the ball to make sure everybody is on the same page.

You can blame the offense for playing it safe but the lost falls on the defense. You can't give up a 40 yard catch on 3rd and 20. That should NEVER happen.
