ok maybe 40 was pushing it.. but the seahawks are giving up 30 points.. that defense isnt the same earl not being back there anymore is big. atlanta just has too many receivers that can beat you.. their slot receivers are just as good as the wideouts.. they have a 2 headed running game coleman AND freeman.. if matty ice is on, they can gash you either way.. atlanta's offense is what the seahawks offense USED TO BE.. like lynch era..

That sounds all good on paper and it can happen but if it were that easy we'd guess these games right every year. You're only explaining the first layer. There's so many things to this, Atlanta with Matt Ryan have had multiple games inside the dome in the playoffs and have no showed up or have choked bad. While Seattle has shown literally the opposite in the same situations. Like I said with future bets don't bet on the hot and poppy team bet on consistency and good coaching. Seahawks haven't been consistent but the defense is still very strong no matter how you put it. Ppl say the numbers are down but they're top 2 in points allowed which should be the most important defensive stat. Public is big on ATL as well. I just like Carroll in this spot a lot more. Even on the road. I swear Seahawks O line is bad and this is one of those games where you bet one thing cuz of everything on paper and it just goes the exact opposite and all it took was peeling that first layer.

i just said up above that im not looking at stats or crunching numbers or going to papers. i am going off of what i watched all season from both teams.. period. maybe we werent watching the same football games. its all fun to agree to disagree but if matt gets any type of fire at home in front of the fans, seahawks will be lucky to keep this within in 10.

but i think this is atlanta's time.. the seahawks beating up on detroit showed nothing..the seahawks did what they were suppose to do. just look at the jump in offensive talent from detroits offense, to atlantas offense.. and the seahawks are a man down on defense.. in the most crucial area of the field. the middle of the field is up for grabs. and they are are on the road at that. me not overthinking this game is, atlanta has a better offense, at home, therefore they should win by 7 atleast.

i know but i wouldnt be shocked at all if it happens again. but im definitely not going to pick all favorites and expect the same outcome as the wildcard. the first thing i did when these lines came out was to look for the live dogs.

Seattle is not the same team on the road. Their win vs detroit was not that impressive either. Their secondary is going to have a tough time. They struggled vs Atl receivers the first time they played. I think Atlanta scores in the 30's. All of Seattles worst performances this year were on the road. My only concern with Atlanta is their 3rd down defense and not getting off the field. If Seattle runs a lot and converts third downs then they could slow the game right down which would obviously be bad for Atlanta

ok so everyone likes the seahawks + the points.. what have they done to make you think they can keep up with atlanta score for score? if seahawks score only 25 pts (what they've averaged), they will not come close.. they will need to score 35+ to keep in this game..

matt ryan very well could put up 40 in this game and just has better weapons to throw to.. better running game.. falcons defense has shown upside.. i know russell is know to be houdini with his magic trick plays but that only works for so long.. seahawks will be lucky to keep this within a touchdown
