Talk me out of DET +9?
Can someone talk me out of DET +9?

Since Earl Thomas went down, that Seattle D has looked pretty bad (38 to GB, 34 to ARZ, 23 to SF) outside of beating up the Rams on a short week after they fired their head coach. Seattle hasn't run the ball effectively in 4 weeks and their receiving threats are down to Doug Baldwin (who should be shadowed by Slay) and Jimmy Graham.

Detroit is a lousy road team, and they haven't won a game since Matt Stafford broke the finger on his throwing hand. They can easily lose this game by 20 points.

No chance. OK, maybe that’s a bit harsh. How about a 10% chance? Better? No, not really. Look, the Lions have lost three straight games — all against playoff teams — and they’ve gotten their heads kicked in the last two weeks. Now they have to go to one of the loudest, most hostile venues in all of sports. You know what? Let’s go with 5%. Sure, the Seahawks aren’t great and they almost lost to the lowly 49ers on Sunday. The Seahawks have a very mediocre — that’s mediocre — offense and a pretty good defense. Sound familiar, Giants fans? But they won the NFC West, they’re 7-1 at CenturyLink Field and they opened as 7½-point favorites, according to Vegasinsider.com.

The Lions are a bad team. The playoffs, divison and a home game was on the the line the last 3 weeks of the season and the Lions didn't show up. They only got in the playoffs because the Redskins lost. Their offense disappears in the 2nd half and their defense can't make plays. Lions easily lose by 10 or more.
