TEN - RB Derrick Henry may miss multiple weeks
    Source: TitansOnline.com - Jim Wyatt

Tennessee Titans RB Derrick Henry (calf) could miss up to two weeks with a strained calf, according to head coach Mike Mularkey.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

That makes Antonio Andrews the back behind starter DeMarco Murray. It looks like he will most certainly miss the Week 10 game against the Packers.

DEN - Kapri Bibbs pushing to become a starter?
    Source: 9News.com - Mike Klis

Denver Broncos RB Devontae Booker participated in 46-of-56 offensive snaps in Week 9 against the Oakland Raiders. However, head coach Gary Kubiak stated Kapri Bibbs has earned more work while meeting with reporters Monday, Nov. 7. In fact, 9News.com's Mike Klis is suggesting Bibbs, who played nine snaps, could see the ratio to change in Bibbs' favor in Week 10 against the New Orleans Saints.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Broncos need to jump-start their rushing attack, and Booker is not getting it done. Bibbs turned a screen pass into a 69-yard touchdown against the Raiders on Sunday night, and that lone play could get him more touches. Booker has been battling a shoulder injury, and the Broncos aren't running the ball well as a team. Booker and Bibbs could become a near 50/50 RBBC ... and it's something fantasy owners are best left to avoid until things work better on the ground for the Broncos.

WAS - Rob Kelley will be main guy
Source: The Washington Post - Mike Jones

Washington Redskins RB Rob Kelley is expected to receive the bulk of carries in Week 10, according to head coach Jay Gruden. Gruden added that RB Matt Jones (knee) will need to earn his way back into the starting role.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
In Week 8 against the Bengals, Kelley scored a rushing TD and had 87 yards on the ground. As the lead back, the rookie could grind down opposing defenses with 20-plus carries. From a fantasy lens, he's a low-end RB1 or high-end RB2 so long as he's the main back.

JAX - WR Allen Hurns in concussion protocol
    Source: Jaguars.com - John Oehser
Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns (concussion) was placed in the league's concussion protocol Monday, Nov. 7.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Hurns needs to be cleared before he can resume practicing. His playing status is in doubt, and that could lead to a larger role for Marqise Lee.

KC - RB Spencer Ware still in concussion protocol
    Source: Chiefs.com - B.J. Kissel
Kansas City Chiefs RB Spencer Ware (concussion) remains in the league's concussion protocol, according to head coach Andy Reid.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Chiefs weren't able to do much on the ground against the Jaguars. Charcandrick West led the team in rushing with only 39 yards. If Ware continues to miss time, then fantasy owners should only consider West a RB2 or flex play.

CLE - QB Cody Kessler to get Week 10 nod
Source: The Cleveland Plain Dealer - Mary Kay Cabot

Cleveland Browns QB Cody Kessler will remain the starter in Week 10 against the Baltimore Ravens.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Kessler was only able to get 10 points on the board against the Cowboys on Sunday. The team needs to continue evaluating the rookie as he's getting plenty of experience this year to build on.

KC - QB Alex Smith on track for Week 10 return
    Source: ESPN.com - Adam Teicher

Kansas City Chiefs QB Alex Smith (concussion) will return to the starting lineup in Week 10 against the Carolina Panthers, according to head coach Andy Reid.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This is the plan for now as Smith returns from his 'we're sure it wasn't a concussion' that caused him to miss the last game against the Jaguars.

NYG - Good chance RB Shane Vereen returns?
Source: The Bergen Record - Art Stapleton

New York Giants RB Shane Vereen (triceps) has a 'good chance' to reap term before the end of the season, according to The Bergen Record's Art Stapleton.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Even if Vereen returns, fantasy owners shouldn't be looking to him for help. The Giants want to use more of rookie Paul Perkins, but even he's nothing more than a waiver wire speed dial guy just in case he starts producing.

PHI - RB Darren Sproles the lead back in Philly
    Source: CSNPhilly.com - Reuben Frank

Philadelphia Eagles RB Darren Sproles has officially moved to the front of the team's running back committee, according to head coach Doug Pederson.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Sproles has done it by being productive with the touches given to him as a runner or receiver out of the backfield. He's a RB2 for fantasy owners in PPR leagues with this larger role. Ryan Mathews becomes more of a 'what the heck' flex on a weekly basis.

TB - RB Jacquizz Rodgers still in walking boot
Source: Tampa Bay Times - Greg Auman

Updating a previous story, Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Jacquizz Rodgers (foot) did not practice Monday, Nov. 7, and is still wearing a walking boot eight days after suffering a foot sprain during a Week 8 loss to the Oakland Raiders.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It just doesn't look like Rodgers is anywhere close to returning. Doug Martin missed practice on Monday as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury. If Martin can't play, then rookie Peyton Barber could be in for the starter's workload in Week 10.

NYJ - QB Ryan Fitzpatrick has MCL sprain
    Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter

Updating previous reports, New York Jets QB Ryan Fitzpatrick (knee) suffered a sprained medial collateral ligament in his knee during the Week 9 game, according to a source.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The injury isn't believed to be serious, but it could give the Jets a reason to look at one of their young QBs. They need to evaluate Byrce Petty and/or Christian Hackenberg, and they could make a QB change after the Week 11 bye.

LA - RB Todd Gurley needs more work
Source: Los Angeles Times - Gary Klein

Los Angeles Rams RB Todd Gurley is not receiving enough carries, according to head coach Jeff Fisher.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

As if Gurley owners needed Fisher to tell us this...

DAL - QB Tony Romo will practice more
    Source: ESPNDallas.com - Todd Archer

Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo (back) was cleared to practice fully last week and will practice more this week. Owner Jerry Jones has not ruled out the possibility of Romo being active for Week 10.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Romo is almost ready to return...but he may not return as the starter. The Cowboys are arguably the best team in the NFL, and they're led by rookie QB Dak Prescott. Romo may be ready to play, but the veteran may be the backup to the rookie.

DEN - QB Trevor Siemian still the starter
    Source: 9News.com - Mike Klis

Denver Broncos QB Trevor Siemian will remain the starting quarterback for Week 10. 'We like what Trevor is doing,' head coach Gary Kubiak said. 'Like all of us, he has to get better.'

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Siemian has been struggling, and the Broncos have lost three of their last five games (two with Siemian as the starter). They have first-round pick Paxton Lynch on the bench behind Siemian, but at this point they're not going to the rookie. If they don't get on the winning track, perhaps that would change after the team's Week 11 bye.

CLE - WR Terrelle Pryor has limited practice
    Source: ClevelandBrowns.com

Cleveland Browns WR Terrelle Pryor (hamstring) was limited in practice Monday, Nov. 7.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Pryor has been limited with this hamstring problem for a couple of weeks, but he's still able to perform like a WR2 for fantasy owners.

KC - WR Jeremy Maclin uncertain for Week 10

Source: The Kansas City Star - Terez A. Paylor

Kansas City Chiefs WR Jeremy Maclin (groin) is being considered day-to-day, according to head coach Andy Reid, who admitted Maclin could conceivably miss more time.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Maclin entered the game on Sunday with a groin injury, and he aggravated it on the opening drive. If he's not in for the game coming up against the Panthers, Albert Wilson, Chris Conley and Tyreek Hill could be asked to do more.

MIA - WR DeVante Parker still not feeling right
Source: The Miami Herald - Adam H. Beasley
Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker (hamstring) played 57-of-64 snaps in a Week 9 win over the New York Jets, but head coach Adam Gase noted his second-year receiver was limited by his health.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Parker was targeted four times against the Jets, but he came down with just two catches for eight yards. He's clearly not himself, and the Dolphins are running the ball more anyway. Fantasy owners can move on from Parker if there's a better option on the waiver wire.

ATL - RB Tevin Coleman continuing rehab
    Source: ESPN.com - Vaughn McClure

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman (hamstring) was spotted working on the side field during practice Monday, Nov. 7.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Coleman's speed would be a big asset for the Falcons offense. Keep an eye on his status during the week of practice. If he doesn't play, then Terron Ward will be asked to do more again as a reserve back behind Devonta Freeman.

HOU - WR Will Fuller misses Monday practice
Source: Houston Chronicle - Aaron Wilson

Houston Texans WR Will Fuller (leg) did not take part in practice Monday, Nov. 7.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fuller's status should be updated on Friday. His speed will help stretch the field against the Jaguars if he can play.

WAS - RB Matt Jones gets in individual work
    Source: ESPN.com - John Keim

Washington Redskins RB Matt Jones (knee) took part in practice Monday, Nov. 7.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

There's no telling if Jones is going to return this week. The team could start Rob Kelley again if Jones is out. Check back on his status with Friday being the most important day.

ATL - GM Thomas Dimitroff inks extension
    Source: FOXSports.com - Jay Glazer

Atlanta Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff signed a three-year extension to remain with the team Monday, Nov. 7.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Falcons are in a good spot with their roster, mainly because of the work Dimitroff has been able to do in the draft and free agency.

TB - WR Josh Huff added to Bucs
Source: The Tampa Tribune - Roy Cummings
Free-agent WR Josh Huff (Eagles) was signed to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' practice squad Monday, Nov. 7.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Huff was waived by the Eagles last week after a DUI arrest. He went through waivers unclaimed, and the Bucs decided to give him a shot. If ever on the active roster, Huff is mainly a contributor for special teams.

TB - RB Doug Martin out of practice
Source: The Tampa Tribune - Roy Cummings
Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Doug Martin (hamstring) was out of practice Monday, Nov. 7.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Martin should be close to returning for the Bucs. It is a bit of a surprise that Martin isn't ready after the team played last Thursday. We'll know more about his status on Wednesday. If Martin misses another game, rookie Peyton Barber would get a bulk of the work against the Bears in Week 10.
