Those that have seen my MLB totals thread know that for many years I have played mostly totals. I have had a NHL and MLB thread and for the first time I will be posting a NFL total thread, time permitting. I anticipate 0-3 plays per week. I never force a play. We hit about 59% of totals in our MLB thread, and I hope to do the same here, but would be very pleased with 55%. No guarantees as we all know. As always, money management is the key.

The first play of the year:

NO/NYG over 53.5

I have no more official plays for Sunday, however I do have some "Opinion" games. These are games that did not make the final cut but have, IMO, a lot of factors working in their favor. I will post them for those who do their own handicapping, just to "bounce" their plays off of. These are NOT official plays!

My NFL will also be very limited. My feeling is with so few games each week and the books having a week to massage the lines, it's a lot harder to find value.

Truth be told, I am not a big NFL fan, now especially with some players showing disrespect for our country's flag. (check my avatar)

That said, over the years I have always done better in college sports, other than MLB, so if you follow, keep that in mind and play these accordingly

As I mentioned earlier, the NFL has never been my strong suit. Since we are 6-1 in college totals, I have decided not to do NFL totals. Very soon the NHL and college hoops will be here and we'll have those totals.

Remember, there is a reason most books offer higher limits on the NFL than college.
