I guess it depends on how quickly you want the money back and how much risk you want to take. At what point does Vegas report a winning bet, factor in taxes.

Didn't even think about taxes, but i have some losses i guess i could report to somewhat balance that out.

Its just that if I go, i know my Fiance' will want to come, so your looking at $700 for flight tickets, and then a night or two at a hotel.

Smaller bets at multiple sportsbooks could avoid reporting, I'm not sure what the limit is though.

Why would you tell her that you're making a quick trip to Vegas? If you can't successfully come up with a cover story to explain a two-day absence, that shows me you're already a loser. Just stay home and use the money for some girly stuff she wants for the house.

It's only worth it if you win. Otherwise, it's just a really expensive bag of nuts.

I guess its a good thing i DIDNT save my money. I DID make the Flight. and I DID Take Oakland Over 8.5. Placed 10K to win 8K (roughly). Placed bets at 6 different casinos. I also took a small bet on winning the AFC Championship and the Super Bowl.

Now my question is how long do i have to cash these tickets?

Great win. If I remember correctly I think it's 90-120 days after the end date on the ticket.

It should be on the back on your ticket actually.

I'm pretty sure it was wins for the season since this thread started back in July.

To help vegas doesn't generally factor in or worry about taxes for this size sports bet. Anything involving over 10k in cash will require a CTR (same things banks use with 10k in cash or more) so you won't have to worry about that issue. The form they'll have you fill out is more toward money laundering

But also could hit multiple casions. You have 120 days to cash a winning ticket once settled

                                                100 percent.

Westgate doesn't even blink at 10,000 wagers. It's common place.

And why would you not want to get paid cash immediately upon winning your wager?

                                                No brainer.
