Game means squat for the Giants if the Skins beat Philly, which could happen on Saturday. Need to wait on that. I'd take the Giants +6 or higher if they still have a chance.

even if the Eagles win and Giants win the Giants still have to win final week
and need Dallas to beat Washington.
no Beckham and no defense. at Minny.
I'd rather take the Vikes before the outcome of Skins-Philly
because Skins could easily win and the line would go higher on the Vikes.
This season is nothing but a headache for the Giants
they are already moved on to next year mentally.

Nah. If Eagles win, I fully expect the Giants to as well. However, I think the Eagles lose.

Vikings Defense will destroy the Giants. Vikings should rest AP for the playoffs and let that ankle heal up this game is not even close without Beckham

If you like the Skins and like the Vikes more with a Skins win, it would make a great Skins-Vikes parlay.

Yeah, or Eagles-Giants. Hell, could play them both and net a profit if you're that confident.

That is definitely true but I am holding off Washington.
Philly screwed their backers last week... but they are just like that.
You never know when they will turn off then on. This could be a snap-back
game for them. Washington has a poor road record. I want to bet Washington
but discipline tells me not to.
I will be on Minnesota, but may be tying them in with another game
so wait and watch what this line does during the Sat night game.
Expect LM here during the Eagles-Redskins game.

You could also sprinkle in Cards-Eagles-Giants because if Cards beat the Pack, the Giants@Vikings game means nothing to the Vikings in terms of winning the NFC North, it'll all come down to Vikes@Pack week 17. Also, the Vikings clinch a playoff spot with a Seahawks win OR a Panthers win, so maybe toss Seahawks OR Panthers into that parlay too because if the Vikings clinch it only helps raise stock in the Giants. Vikings HC Zimmer said he's playing all the starters the whole game no matter what, but if the game means nothing I could see AP and/or Teddy getting a quick hook.

Vikings can get the 3rd seed by beating Green Bay in week 17
even if they lose this game.
i dunno now.

Well, either way, Minnesota has to keep winning if they want a 5 seed, irrespective of the NFC North. That 5 seed is hugely valuable over the 6 seed. They can still get it if Seattle loses a game and they win out.

5th plays at 4th
6th plays at 3rd
where is the huge value ? Teams don't care where they go in road games.
The crucial game for Vikings is week 17 at Lambeau.
This game is not attractive to me presently anymore.
Houston and Jacksonville (both no lines) seem cleaner.

Generally there isn't much value. This year there is, since the 5 seed plays at the NFC East winner, a game in which the road team will be favored. Would you rather play at Washington or Green Bay in January?
BTW - you mentioned Jacksonville. I like them as well at the ML if Brees is out.

If Seattle wins, Minny can't get the 5 seed. So, the best parlay might be Giants/Eagles/Cards/Seahawks (pays 7-1).

i will be taking the Vikes -6 only if Green Bay loses
that way the Vikes will have a shot at winning the 3 seed
NFC North and hosting the WC game. They would need to
beat Green Bay at Lambeau next week which is doable
considering the injuries.

I'm in as well. Line movement kind of resembles Packers/Cards. I hope the result is similar.

The fact that next weeks game with Green Bay is for the division title regardless of tonight's outcome worries me alittle bit. But since Seattle lost, this makes the 5th seed possible if Green Bay wins the division and Seattle loses next week too.

Perhaps I am mistaken. I thought Vikings were -4, 5 earlier in the week. Liking Vikings regardless. Unusual play for me too. One of the few times I have laid more than a FG in NFL all year.

Vikings shouldn't be laying -7 to anyone.. just how KC shouldn't have been laying -11, just like the seahawks shouldn't have been laying -14 just simply knowing the seahawks and rams history.. giants +7 should cover.

I've thought this before and the Vikings have covered numbers I thought they had no business laying. I had the Browns today, for those same reasons you mention though. GL with whatever your play is.

Minny can still find themselves out of the playoffs. A win tonight clinches a playoff birth. Two losses with an Atlanta win and Minny sits home. This game means nothing for the division title, but still a lot to simple playoff chances.
