Weird line in the Carolina/Atlanta game
    Panthers -7.5

Carolina was -7 AT New Orleans last week. Now they're nearly the same AT HOME against an Atlanta team that has been arguably the worst team in the league since week 5. How.

This line says Atlanta is six points better than the Saints. Wtf is going on here.

I don't get it either. ever since the books got Carolina figured out by upping the lines they should be a fade from here on out.. I know Atlanta is horrible.. but its the NFL lol for crying outloud the shitty ass eagles beat the patriots.

Books thinking panthers will at least win...only way to adjust ML accordingly is to inflate spread as well. I put this game around 28-19 which is actually steeper than books projection so panthers or nothing for me. I don't think ATL necessarily a sucker play ats however I do tend to think ATL ML is throwing money away. GL.

Edit: just noticed you were alluding to 7.5 being a little short? If so ignore my statements...I agree w/ you Panthers are ~9-10 points better.

Panthers are the much better team but you can never trust these divisional matchups. The Falcons will get up for this one.

Yeah. Operating under the belief that Atlanta and New Orleans are roughly the same, which isn't that far off especially over the last six to eight weeks, this line is weird. Panthers were -7 at New Orleans, which says they'd be roughly -13 home chalk. Now they're home against an equalish team and they're only laying 7.5? I'm very confused.

due thoery. divisional game and falcons still fighting for a playoff spot. 7.5 seems about right to me, true line might be around 10 but that isn't happening. if you like the falcons wait til game day. every teaser and parlay will be tight to the panthers sunday at 1 o'clock, that you can bet you bottom dollar on.

You also have to factor in that although they were -7 at NO, they didn't cover. Meaning the line was too high.

If ATL doesn't win here there season is just about over. Carolina didn't cover against NO and could have easily lost. I think Carolina wins, but ATL keeps it close.

I don't buy into "due factor" or div rival much here. Let's face it how did that work out for Falcunts last Sunday? Team will struggle on ground here, red zone offense is beyond terrible, Matty spice is shit. Definitely a great teaser play Carolina just much better in every phase except wideout obviously. Carolina or nothing for me here and definitely teased Atl not worth burning $ on. Kinda like the under as well with Atl offensive deficiencies particularly in red zone won't go well vs this Panther D that will definitely be hungry after slipping last wk, and Atl defense been solid enough.

Carolina by a touchdown don't over think this game.
