Where are the future hall of fame quarterbacks?
The first decade of this century has produced many great qbs who are now in their prime or just passed it. In the first decade(2000 to 2010 (ok eleven years) the following quarterbacks were drafted
Brady, Brees, Romo,Roethlisberger,Rivers,Rogers. All Hall of Fame candidates.

Very good quarterbacks drafted: Palmer, Eli Manning(inconsistent, but 2 Super Bowl wins count for something) and Joe Flacco

Leaving out the 2 rookies drafted this year,Mariota and Winston(too few games). Who do you see finishing out this decade.as the top qbs?
    All I see are:
Andrew Luck, maybe Cam Newton and Wilson. Until this year Dalton was considered good at best.I don't know if anyone would take Wilson, Dalton or Newton's future over the whole careers of Brady,Brees,Romo,Roethlisberger, Rogers and Rivers.

I said Hall of Fame candidates. Romo and Rivers will get lots of votes.
Romo's value to his team can be seen in Dallas' awful record in his absence.

But they're not... unless you use the most liberal of criteria (get some votes!).

Romo has a 2-4 playoff record and has never sniffed a conference championship game, let alone playing in a SB.

Rivers has a 4-5 playoff record.

And you have both a 2-time and 1-time Super Bowl MVP's listed behind them.

Stafford(27) gets overlooked because the Lions are such a terrible franchise, but he's #1 all-time in Pass yards/game.

We've gone from hall of fame

                to Rivers and Romo

                ...

                ...

                to Stafford.

                This is a new low.

I started this conversation to talk about future NFL Hall of Fame candidates, those drafted 2011 and later. Make believe this is year 2025 and we are looking at great qbs drafted in or after 2011. Who are they? I see Luck, maybe Newton and Wilson.

My prediction, which carries -1000000 odds, is that Matthew Stafford will never be seriously considered for the hall of fame by anyone other than delusional Detroit fans.

Other predictions? Luck wins a ring or two and gets in. If the Seahawks can figure out a way to stay consistently relevant and Wilson stays healthy and effective for another decade, he's in. Cam I dunno. This is really the only season he's performed even close to hall of fame consideration. Other than that, I don't see much young talent that's worth a serious hall of fame conversation. Too early to tell with most of these guys.

good discussion for fun here imo. I believe there to only be 3 QB's in the NFL right now who are guaranteed HOF'ers (Peyton, Brady, A-Rod) I think Drew Brees hasn't earned it yet just my 2 cents. I agree with a few other posters from above Romo and Rivers are laughable you might as well have added Cutler too..... so outside of the 3 slam dunks the only others playing right now who I think have a chance are Luck & Wilson. I wish they would be more critical and the HOF be more of an honor instead of letting in some of the people they do and not just NFL all sports.

he will be in the HOF following tonight's SNF game vs the Colts

just remind him to throw vs Toler, and V.Davis (clearly isn't 100%)
