Green Bay -9
Packers have not lost three games in a row in the Aaron Rodgers ERA & I don't see that starting this week. Packers have lost two straight to good competition! They lost to Denver & Carolina, folks. People are acting like they lost to Detroit & Chicago. Yes, GB hasn't looked like there normal selves but, don't worry. They go back home to play a team who is in turmoil and a divisional rival. Packers last 20 playing a division opponent following a loss: 16-3-1 ATS. Also, Lions have lost 24 straight in GB & lost 25 straight games as a double digit underdog. I know the number has been falling in favor of DET but, I'm on GB -9 to bounce back here.
St. Louis Rams -6.5
Rams at home against the Chicago Bears. Rams last week lost to Minnesota on the road in OT. But, at home, this is a different team. They play with an incredible energy when they are in Edward Jones Dome and Chicago is the opposite when they are on the road. This is only the 4th time the Rams have been favored by a TD or more in the last 10 seasons. (3-0 ATS in those games). Bears will try to get Langford going but, against the Rams defense I don't see it happening. I see Gurley going OFF in this one. Over 140yds & TD is my expectation for Gurley. Look for the Rams to roll over the Bears.
Tennessee Titans +4.5
My best bet of the week. Carolina coming off of three emotional homes games, all wins. Carolina is beat up & exhausted against a TEN team with a new coach rejuvenated to win games. Travel to TEN and are favored by more than a FG. If you look at the Titans this year, they are outgunning there opponents in terms of yards. This is looking like a let down spot for Carolina. Panthers might not lose this game but, it's going to be a lot closer than people think. I see Titans leading late and Cam Newton driving down for the GW FG or TD and Panthers win 23-21.
Cleveland Browns +7.5 (B:0.5pt)
I'm taking the Browns with plus a TD. Steelers are without Big Ben & Le'Veon Bell. But, clearly, the loss of Bell isn't affecting the Steelers with the play of DeAngelo Williams. The Browns have a bad rushing defense and I expect Williams to get a huge load of the work today but, because of that the clock will run. Landry Jones is not a good QB. He can't get the ball to Antonio Brown to recent games and Brown has not caught a TD from any QB besides Big Ben. I'm banking on the Browns defense contributing to the offense and forcing Turnovers to help Manziel and keep it close.
