Week 10 - Contrarian Football Pool Picks
    YTD (through week 9):

    Going against the...
    80%+ games: 9-6 (3-0 week 9)
    70%+ games: 16-15 (1-2 week 9)

Best week of the year last week with the big plays going 3-0. As I noted, they all looked like complete sucker bets and came through as solid winners going the opposite the public.

Onto this week - go opposite:

    Carolina 81%
    New Orleans 77%
    Denver 76%
    Pitt 73%
    GB 73%

If any slip into the 80s or fall into the 60s, I will update.

My buddy's work pool. Large sampling size (several thousand at least). We noticed several years ago that whenever the percentages cracked 70 and especially 80%, those picks went down in flames so we started fading that trend. Results have been great every year (the general betting public, including my old self, knows nothing.)

3-2 works. Steelers game was an odd one too. Don't think anyone was expecting Ben.

Cincy went to 71% last night so I took Houston. Wasn't able to post the game tho as I was stuck at work. Losing the 80% TN game made the week a push for me as I go very heavy on those selections. At least it wasn't a heartbreaker I suppose. Looks like there are three games hovering around 80% for Week 11 per my buddy (he didn't give the specifics.)

You gotta think we'll see Denver, Dallas, and Green Bay on the list this week. Maybe even Oakland.
