Very odd line jets+9 and dolphins +7.5 to +8 vs patriots does not make sense??

How can the Dolphins be only be +7.5 to +8 and the Jets were +9

the line seems to me very odd to me.

I am a dolphins fan but see the Patriots winning the game

The book giving more respect and points to the Dolphins then they did with the JETS.
