I think Philly was spotted this win to keep the NFC East race at bay. Eagles also needed a "big win" en route to their showdown next SNF against Carolina. Odds at Carolina -2.5 who sports an undefeated record (5-0). Vegas needs Philly backers to regain their trust so tonight was the night to get Eagles back some credibility.

I don't have a read yet on the Giants/Cowboys game, but I know Carolina will probably get by the Eagles on SNF, host Indy (win), and then play Green Bay at home in another possible undefeated match up. A little early to call it but that's how I'm seeing it right now.
