Honestly, anything can happen in the nfl but Seattle has been virtually unbeatable at home on primetime games going back to the Holmgren era. You also have to look at the opponent and what they have done this year. 0-3 Detroit is averaging 14 points per game and has no ground attack. They are a passing offense which plays right into the seattle strength--one of the best secondaries in the nfl.

Does this mean Seattle will cover? No. Does it mean Seattle will win? Probably.

One factor not considered....Its the NFL....strange, but anything can happen in any given game. Took Redskins and Giants on Sunday and I got a bunch of grief....how did that work out? I think they have a shot. I think the Lions are a little better than their record and the Seahawks aren't as good as last year. The only thing the Seahawks have done so far this year is beat up on a Bears team led by maybe the worst QB in the league.

I'm curious about this too. The only time I'd every buy points is a half point to get it to +3/-3. And you could make the case for buying to 7, but I'd only do this as insurance on a parlay.
