NFL NEEDS to make pass interference and defensive holding for exactly this reason
Just when it looked like everything that could be said had been said about the inexplicable failure of the Giants to keep the clock running at the end of the game at Dallas, the NFL has said something more.

Admitting 4 days after the fact doesn't give the giants a divisional win over the cowboys now does it? I know none of this would have mattered if the giants just ran the ball in the first place but these 2 calls had a huge impact on the game and gift wrapped at least 10 cowboy points. If the league is going to admit these calls are wrong after the game like they oftentimes do then the coaches should be able to challenge them during the game.

Too many flags already in NFL and most times via replay flags were not justified.

Game should be simplified and reduce flags period. NFL admitting they missed one is just an excuse to be more involved. Basically asking the perpetrator to give you more.
The real idiotic thing was not that NYG TE was held or not, but E. Manning while rolling to right and not having an open receiver or clear run lane for TD to take a freaking knee, run play clock to 00 take 5 yard penalty and make chip shot. That alone would have iced Dallas.

What you could also do ... Ive never seen it done...Is for Manning to actually turn around and start running down the field towards his own goal line... Once he gets to say the 50 and most likely run 25-30 secs off the clock you go down once tackled... Then punt it away.

You think it would take him about 30 seconds to run to the 50 yard line?

It depends on the situation... If theres say 60 secs left...You could easily take time off the clock legging it down the field...Then on fourth down as the clock runs...There would be no time left...

Remember the opposition are in Defense mode...So theyre expecting the QB to attack the other way...It would take around 8-10 secs before they realise "Shit we need to bring this fupper down" and then they still have to chase him down the field... Ive used it on Madden very effectively

Well this is no big surprise, everybody that saw the game know that the refs + some stupud decisions by giants, handed the win to the cowboys as a home team. And it was really just a matter of time before the league confessed about it.

What amazes me the most, during the years ive watched NFL, is the amount of time they get between each snap... Make the game more fast paced, and reduce the time to 20 seconds.

I can easily make a cup of coffee, drink it up, go piss it out, and come back, and ball is still not in play.
