Most survivor pools assign the most popular pick that week to those that miss the deadline. These typically win more than lose. The whole point of giving the biggest dog is to get people to turn in their picks on time. After last week's game nobody in their right mind would have taken the Bucs. What's the alternative, kick them out? Pretty harsh. And I did pick, took the Steelers.

Yes but for an extremely high entry. I don't see many people buying back, and if they do it will shoot the prize pool up.. That's assuming that there are 20 entries left, if it falls below 20 then no buy backs.

I thought it was a given it would earlier, now with the Ravens down and Dolphins tied, I'm not 100% sure 20 will remain

Started the day with 69 people, end the week with a maximum of 26.

If the Colts and Steelers lose we'll have 16 left and no rebuys. If the Colts or Steelers win we'll have more than 20 entries left so we'll have rebuys next week.

The breakdown for those are:

1 entry: 150 total
2 entries: 290 total
3 entries: 420 total
4 entries: 540 total
5 entries: 650 total

Will also have late entries accepted for 150 a piece, with the late entries having to pick, and win, 3 games to advance to week 4

like i said this morning i cant remember a season the 1st 2 weeks were so tough to get through in these contest and ive been doing them for at least 15 years. ive seriously taken 3 point favs both weeks and that not usually something i have to do until much much later on in the season. i was so close to taking fish it not even funny but i despise taking road teams in these and fish performance at washington didnt inspire a whole lot of confidence. i liked the dog in oak and no if not ml i liked both dogs with the points and i never try and take teams i dont think will cover. strange season where i have more confidence in 3 point home favs than i do td or more favs. so far so good as i been plus money both weeks and still alive in survivor pools so works for me.

ya no.. this needs to be known at the beginning. I'm down to play this one out and start a new one
