Fellow Saints fan here, I don't get the spread either... Road game vs a team they don't know well, that also has a good defense... Not a good recipe for success the last few years for us.

DC Bowles no longer with the Cards. He kept that team close in last years games with his brilliant blitz packages and schemes. The D will not have that kind of leadership this year and will be giving up points. Cards have not had a reliable run game in years and still do not. Palmer is a pocket passer and needs time to throw. With no run game, he's going to be heaving it under pressure. Fitz another year older and draws constant doubles.
