Dont be afraid of the Defense...and definetely not the offense..its still filled with weapons...best weapon of course is Drew Brees..he still has great recievers to throw to..and can flip a screen pass better than anyone Ive seen...watch out for Ingram..THIS is his year. Defense will continue to improve....Pre Season was "just a show"...Payton and Ryan are holding back..all an act..you will see in this first game. The Real!

The Saints could very well lose this game and/or not cover the spread. However, anyone saying they're in rebuilding mode just isn't in touch with reality as it pertains to the Saints. You don't go out and get Spiller, Browner, etc if you are in rebuilding mode. Getting rid of a "soft" Jimmy Graham doesn't mean they're in rebuilding mode. It means they're going back to the blueprint they started to build in 2006. This team will certainly win the NFC South. That doesn't sound like rebuilding to me.

Saints on the road. Need we say more? Also against an NFC West team. Not a good combo for a win and definitely not at -7. In a teaser getting 7 pts sounds good but any game west of the Mississippi usually results in a big L for the Saints.

People..stop basing them off of LAST year or 2-3 years ago..Fresh Season..Fresh Start...when the "STARTERS"...were on the field in Pre Season..this year..I liked what I saw..0-4 Pre Season..doesnt matter..they were not using starters long in these games..but when they did..they Rocked...Im looking at THIS YEARS Team!! ...and today..they win..at home or away..no matter..they win!

Same time last year Saints were the trendy opening day pick as a favorite. I can't remember who they played (someone bad I think), but they looked horrible. I won't fall into that trap again.

Tampa covers this somehow. Maybe a backdoor but they will cover. Very rarely do teams get busted two weeks in a row. Titans D was a buzzsaw in week 1 and NO D is garbage.
