Ok let's get some winner in the NFL as we try and build a bankroll for the regular season.
Detroit Lions vs Jacksonville Jaguars
OU Lines are a bit higher in week 3 of the preseason and I feel this one is a bit to high, as just one team has a shot at scoring many points. The Jags offense should be improved this year, but it will still be bad and it has shown that in the preseason, putting up just 284 ypg worth of offense, while the Lions have allowed just 232 ypg on defense. Detroit on offense has looked solid, but hasn't scored a bunch, while the Jags defense has looked good, plus the Grass at EverBank Field should slow Detroit's offense down even more.
This game will pit a mediocre offense vs a good defense and a bad offense vs a defense that looks like it is picking up where it left off last year when it led the league. Add is all up, plus with the game being on grass and we should get no more than 35 points in this one.

Tennessee Titans vs Kansas City Chiefs
Week 3 is usually the dress rehearsal for teams and that means the game will likely play out more like the regular season. That is a reason why the Chiefs may be favored by so much here. The Titans are a bad team and could end up with the worst record in the NFL this year. The Chiefs are not a bad team and with their upgrades on offense they just may have what it takes to knock Denver off the top spot in the AFC West this year. Mariota and Mettenberger have both looked good for the Titans, but one of their games were vs a bad Atlanta offense and in their second game they weren't spectacular vs a solid Rams defense. Tonight both these young QB will take on a very good Kansas city defense in a very hostile Arrowhead Stadium. Can't see either having a ton of success here.
For Kansas City I give them a big edge at QB with Alex Smith and Chase Daniel getting most of the work here. Daniel has had a very good preseason so far as he has hit 25 off 33 passes for 270 yards and 4 TDs so far in his 2 games played. Very solid and he will be facing backup Tennessee defenders. Tennessee has allowed 363 ypg and 6.3 ypp so far, while the Chiefs have allowed just 267.5 ypg and 4.7 ypp so far.
The Titans don't have enough offense or defense to keep this game close, so I will take Kansas City -5 here.
