Here are my week 1 plays and leans. I use a type of analytics. An analytics guy won the supercontest two years ago and I won a handicapping contest about 10 years ago. Use what works for YOU, whether the handicapping is fundamental, technical, asking your wife who she likes this week, throwing darts at a board, or fading the office mush...they all can and do work. This is not about debating the merits of what method is better, more sound etc.
Plays for the year will be one or two unit plays. My goal is to win 40 units NFL/NCAAFB.
1) Rams +3' (-105) 1 unit
2) Vikings +3 (-109) 1 unit
3) Saints +3 (-110) 1 unit
4) Dolphins -2' ( -108) 1 unit
Will probably take the Browns, but will wait and see if the line goes up to 3'. Leaning Giants and Eagles, want to see what the public betting percentages are....waiting until the week of the games.
