If the NFL spread its games throughout the week, there could be a football game every night of the week, instead of having them bunched together on Sunday, so that you can't watch all of them. Why don't they do that?

Bunching all the games up transforms football as a whole into an event a person can count on and look forward to every week. Monday Night Football and Sunday Night Football have a place in the psyche of American sports fans (not so much thursday nigh football though). Baseball, basketball, hockey, etc. seem to be watched whenever it's on and all that emotion and excitement isn't built up like football.Comment -
