the Monmouth racetrack in New Jersey will. be taking bets this Sunday . from what I gathered the first week there will b 10 tellers taking bets via hand written tickets until they are better equipped will find out more details asap

You may have to wait a bit longer. All the pro leagues are madly filing to stop the opening and legal experts expect them to get it. The same judge already ruled against NJ earlier and will likely do it again. I hope I'm wrong. I listened to a 15 minute radio show about this and it doesn't look good but who knows.Comment -

Judge will likely shut this down on Friday. It's the same judge that ruled against NJ last time. Feds never lose in these cases. Even if the judge wanted to back NJ, feds would pressure him to rule the other way.
