Disagree to many injuries, every game loses importance and it will further destroy the record books.

its all about the record books?
More games will prove who is the better team. A 16 game sample for 32 teams is horrible. I do understand that there will be more injuries, but this will make the teams have to dig deeper, and the coaches to be a little smarter. The 4 weeks of preseason is a joke.
On a side note, I'd rather see the commish do something about the ridiculous rookie contracts. They are way too detrimental to the teams. If they prove they are good, give them the 15 million a year contracts; just don't give college players 50million dollar contracts.

I wouldn't mind, 18 games should mean longer season.

Get rid of all the pre-season games, and let's get right to a 20 real games season.

Teams need preseason to get the timing right. You could see that early last season when Peyton Manning thought he could step right in after skipping most (all?) of preseason. Colts weren't close to ready in week 1.
More games also means more injuries. So I don't care about a longer regular season. I wouldn't mind an extra playoff round, though. By that time the teams are performing at a high level.

I agree with Dark Horse.
Before we expand to 18 games, I'd like to see the first round playoff byes eliminated.
As a fan, I wouldn't mind 18 games except that it just makes each regular season game that much more meaningless. I could see optimum strategy as resting starters well into the regular season. The first quarter of the season would be a defacto preseason which actually counts in the standings. I'm not sure the NFL really wants to risk that type of diluting of the game which already suffers when major stars like Tom Brady go down for the season.

18 games = more real games, plus they're talking about adding two more playoff teams (12 to 14); all good, IMO, and the public pretty much agrees.
No one gives two sh*ts about pre-season games except for you degenerate gamblers who beat it like a drum.

fine with the 18 games if they do away with 2 pre-season games
