Say what u want bout geno but he ain't scared. He stands in under pressure about as well as anyone.. Jets front 7 ain't no scrubs themselves and the qb/team u backing ain't exactly road warriors.

Lions aren't good enough be laying points on the road. Give me the Jets mL with a cherry teaser on top.

Jets aren't gonna fall to 1-3 at home against error prone Detroit.

Really think you guys are overestimating the jets. They edged Oakland at home. That's it. Error prone? Maybe, but bears made plenty of mistakes and jets couldn't capitalize at all. Now a better team is in town, 1 day less of rest for jets. Det might be the square play, but I think it's the right one. But we can only wait and see for sure.

I'm not convinced that DET is better than CHI. How are you coming up with that?

They are better in total yards, passing yards and rushing yards in both offense and defense. #1 in the league in total yards allowed. Bears are 24th.
Bears haven't done all that much to impress me tbh

DET hasn't played the same teams as CHI. 3 games isn't enough to start quoting league rankings.
Any road win @SF is impressive, I don't care how anyone spins it.

Is an at home loss to buffalo equally as impressive?

You are right about too early in the season to be quoting rankings, but even the line on the game itself would suggest they are at least slightly better (but I ack public is down on the jets). Either way, it's my opinion. We won't know for sure until Sunday.

I'll say this, that loss is more impressive than DET's loss to CAR.

I'm not sure what this even means or how you get this. The franchise has been terrible in general for a long time...

Did a little research that at first confirmed what I thought. But comparing it against their baseline it is not so meaningful.
Last 4 years they are 5-7 ATS after a win vs 21-28 ATS all games. (Going back to 2003 14-21 ATS after a win vs 83-90 ATS, more meaningful but less relevant.)

Home favs that lose on a Monday and are home again next Sunday cover ATS 37% of the time. Again, fairly small sample size.

Yes, their one good year, when they went 10-6, they actually strung some wins together... But that was a while ago. It's pretty tough to gather enough data to use trends like "team X does this after this", there just isn't enough games within a relevant time frame.
