Carolina is a 3 point home favorite. The 3 points is for being at home.
Money wagers are offset with lines. Vegas and books do not make money by taking sides.
The fact they are only a field goal "favorite" at home while 2-0
rather says the public is not on Carolina, but on Steelers.
They are a very popular team with many backers nationwide.

I hate betting against Carolina. Their defense is the best defense in football, IMO, and they're at home on a Sunday night. That's tough to bet against. I hate betting against stout Ds.

Also, the Steelers have been outscored 50-9 the last 6 quarters they've played.

I like panthers. they just have such an amazing defense and at home. -3 should cover. Pitt has not impressed me.

No. Respect for Panther D, but Bucs fell behind and tried to go to the air. Lions rarely run.

Panthers surrendering 4.9 yards an attempt.

Still think Bell has big game. I also think Steelers will use Blount to pound.

Don't have a bet yet, had to sweat out that Seahawk game. Nothing easy in the NFL. Leaning Steelers, just can't see Panthers going 3-0 and Newtown still a little nicked up + minus D. Williams.
