RG3 and Kirk Cousins 2015 NFL Contracts
Andy Dalton and Colin Kaepernick's(both drafted in 2011) new contracts caused a lot of arguing the spring and summer of 2014. Were they worth it? Did the teams overpay?

Now the 2012 class of QBs will get new contracts in 2015. How will Washington handle the contracts of RG3 and Cousins? Who will get more? Will both be paid a high amount?

Dalton and Kaep are both worth it. Maybe they overpaid, but who else was available?

If Cousins plays anywhere near the way he played last week, he's the starting quarterback in Washington. Assuming that happens, RG3 will not be offered another contract by the Skins when his contract expires, if he hasn't already been traded by that time. RG3 sucks, but he's an upgrade for quite a few teams which is bizarre.

Neither one of these guys is the long term answer in DC. RG cant stay healthy plus hasnt been able to adapt to the pro game and Cousins is like any other glorified backup qb we see year in and year out when people are clamoring for a changing of the guard. The more games he plays, the more avg he looks. But then again avg is better than most these days, but simply a stop gap.

Too early to tell, but should be interesting. Cousins has a great opportunity to earn a nice payday.

With San Franicisco and Cincy there really was no #2 QB, with Washington, however, there is no clear front runner to be a solid choice of #1. In fact according to the posts I have read in the last few days, it appears to be Cousins is the preferred candidate.

I'd guess he already has, someone will overpay for him if Washington won't.

He could still play himself out of it too. If he goes forward and really stinks it up, his stock can go way down.
