waiting for the Tampa team total line.
if it's 21 or less I will take it vs this Falcons defense.

Hard to go against ATL at home, but lots of points in a division rivalry. Tease ATL is my lean.

Bucs haven't hit that number in 2 home games, granted against 2 decent defenses. Now on the road @ATL, I dunno.

On the road with no Doug Martin, and he's the rare positive of that offense. You really think rainey runs wild again? Because thats the only way they get close to 19.5.

Some games are just easy. Tampa is one of the bad ones this year, on the road after an embarassing home loss 4 days ago, against a play off caliber team favored by less than a touchdown. TB Defense will be solid as the season goes on but Thursday is not the turn around game.

Tampa just lost thier last to games to teams with backup QBs. No way the beat Atlanta with Matt Ryan. This game has blowout written all over it.

Atlanta's D is horrible. Only team in the NFL without a sack. No pressure, cant stop the run either. Mccown will have all day. Bengals missed 3x FGs and should have had another TD if they werent running the clock out. Atlanta will have to score at least 30 to win and with the Bucs injuries on their D line, I think they will. This is going OVER.

i have over 19.5 but i just added over 17 (-155) in open parlay action.
                      -155 for 17 points is a bargain.
McCown shows why he is an NFL qb.

McCown does seem to show up when the lights are on but that was in Chicago. I don't see the supporting cast in Tampa. This one may go over but it will be Atlanta with 35 if it does.

like you already kinda said, this d ranks well below the teams they have faced thus far.. panthers are not decent they are elite,, lambs yea decent with a terrible run d but doubtful it worse than falcons.. but no sense in the team total for me, if bucs hit 20 this goes over 45, might even if bucs score 17, i tend to think 20 is there floor this week. bucs defensive numbers vs the pass been terrible vs a second and 3rd string qb with avg to below avg weapons so i see no reason to leave atl out of the scoring equation in this one..

                              - Falcons rank (32) last in NFL on yards allowed.
                              - Falcons rank (27) on points allowed.
                              - Falcons have no sacks in 2 games.
                              - really doesn't matter how many carries if any Doug Martin takes, Rainey is proving himself and the Falcons rank (31) in Pass defense, with the only team worse being NO, which is the only team they have beaten, with a nudge in OT.
                              - Falcons pass happy offense (including Matty Ice's deep bombs) does not
tend toward long possessions. plenty of clock for Tampa's offense.
                              - Josh McCown is making the most of his opportunity. 67.9% comp ratio vs superior defenses than Falcons. What can he do vs a team that brings no pressure on the QB ? Probably a lot. targets Jackson, Evans, Myers.
                              - Lovie Smith brought McCown in from Chicago. familiarity. Most say that McCown has played well, but there has been some confusion in play calling. Why ? > because offensive coordinator Jeff Tedford underwent heart surgery and was not available at all vs Carolina. He had only limited availability vs Rams and did not participate in practices, wasn't on field. Jeff returned to
work Monday and will be calling the plays tonight. Tonight represents the first full representation of his coordinator skills not hampered by medical conditions.
Being said, only on over 17 and 19.5. If TB can't score that, they won't cover.
But obviously they can score that and still fail to cover.

No idea why anyone cares whether Martin playing unless he on your fantasy team. Not much difference in him getting the carries or rainy, I actually hoped Martin be out so I could use rainy in couple daily leagues

This is what im saying...plus Mccoy is out for the Bucs (Hand injury). Best DT and LT Matthewis is playing...now less pressure on Matty equals more points.
