9/18/14 TAMPA vs ATL GAME DISCUSSION

Let's start this one early and get some input from one another. Im liking ATL in this spot & the line seems quite fair to me -6.5 seems like a good number so I want to pull the trigger soon before it comes to -7!

Parlayed the moneyline. A lot of dogs have been covering first couple of weeks. Tampa Bay should lose this one but I'm not touching a TD spread with news of Julio and Roddy White hobbled and the way Ryan played last week. Tampa is 0-2 and could play a close game here

Keep an eye on Tampa over the next three weeks. With three straight road games there should be some easy money here. I suspect unders might be the play. Tampa will be lucky to crack 20 points in any of the match ups. I figure scoring for Tampa to be in the 10-20 point range.

Tampa Bay may not be good at winning, but both games were close. Their defense will keep them in it. I lean Bucs, but really like under.

ATL defense isn't doing so well either.. 34 points and 24 points allowed. They barely scored 10 points last week vs CIN. Isn't Roddy White out as well?

Not exactly an easy call IMO.

Tampa have massively under performed. There will be games they create a lot of turnovers and big plays but I don't think Thursday will be one.

im not so sure i agree with this man,, it really hard for me to say what the bucs offense is yet, i certainly wasnt high on them like a lot of folks were at start of season but i think you will see a lot of improvement from what their offense has been thus far. i mean lets be fair, we talking about a team with a new system and a lot of new parts, couple that with the fact they played one of the best defenses in the league in week 1 and a decent stl defense last week (certainly not a good lambs defense because they still have no ability to stop the run but think fair to say a better d that the falcons). not a easy task for good teams let alone one that made a lot of changes,, i think this week has the potential to have them looking a lot better, rather it not be a short week but they gonna be able to run the ball on falcons which gonna open up some one on 1s on the outside with those big ass wrs.. ive been playing 1st half unders on thu night almost religiously for some time so i hate the idea of a over on thu night to say the least, so much so im likely passing. cause you might be right and bucs o just bad and become a under machine but the way i see this is the way the offense has looked vs good defenses has kinda put some value on the over as 45 in the Georgia dome is pretty low as you didnt even see that number much when atl was beat to shit last year, ya know matty ice getting his at home with those weapons, bucs have giving up a 73% completion percentage against a coulple 2nd string qbs at home, a 104 passer rating to those qbs, and havnt had a lot of success getting to the qb, well against lambs maybe but that not saying much... this total feels low to me, i think atl puts up 27 at least and despite the early results against good defenses i think tb can easily put up 20 in this gm.. i been wrong before tho and it is still thu night shitfest nfl cash grab so could easily be 13-10 i guess.. but to me if you dont think bucs score 20 might as well bet atl, cause birds gonna get theirs, i just havnt seen them look capable of stopping opposing offenses..

i have no clue but i always think teasing ncaa is a terrible idea as the value simply isnt there like in the nfl.. much better to take atl then be patient and pair them with one of the really good sunday options (there are several), off top of my head if you prefer favs indy and cincy are both great choices, on the dog side zona and nyg over a td are strong options as well..

Anyone on the over 46? I would like it more at 44 but I'm tempted. Atlanta has a crap defense and Tampa Bay will score this game. Maybe not 20+ but I just can't bring myself to take ATL at -7 when you know the public is smashing it.

Wow. Much worse than I thought. Tampa getting crushed. So much for the under theory.....of course an Atlanta explosion is to blame for that, but my Tampa scoring prediction is pretty solid.

To be fair, if I had posted a play on this match it would have been U23.5 first half. I passed on the game. Will post a play for next weeks match vs Pittsburgh.
