Yes, Bad day to fade the top 5, I havent started fading the games yet. Still waiting to see how it does this season. Havent had time RP to look over the percentages but I will get on it tonight. Can you go back and edit that same post and just put a W next to the wins and a L next to the losses and a total as to how they did if you faded the public on each game? I will then take that info and put it into percentages. Say every 10% has its own column and we keep track that way and see if we cant find something solid to compare it to every week? Too much information can never hurt.Comment -

If you were to get the same line as the Hilton last week it would of been 2-3. GB, PHI, KC covered with ATL and NO losing. Lucky 5 in SF if you grabbed number at right time, but this will not be the case everytime therefore for true percentage you need to use same lines.Comment -

Tough week again if you were to fade the Top 5. I haven't faded them blindly like last year, seems to me that either the players are adjusting, or the books arent adjusting. Last season it seemed like the Top 5 were a majority of public picks that got cleaned out, this year many of the top 5 have been "sharp" picks. Of the picks last week, Cards, Chargers, and Eagles were all big road favs and 2 covered. Go figure

I will be fading the Lions, Packers, and possibly Chiefs. Those 3 picks fit the "typical" Hilton Top 5 that we are used to seeing, but why are there 394 picks on the Jets when 86% is on the Steelers! Hopefully it doesnt take away the "sharp" play on the Jets because I really like the Jets!

Maybe cuz line was stale, dropped to Pit-3.5 (naturally I've no way of knowing how much that factored into entrant's selections...where line was when they dropped their cards) so they're possibly seeing a "free" point and a half with Jets + banged up Steelers post physical matchup with Ravens...flat spot for the Steelers? Definitely appears to be a very brave pick at this point. Later today it'll look like either a genius play or absolutely stupid. To me it feels like (largely) a play on a stale number, for the vast majority of the entrants that took it and I personally feel too many "live or die" by that approach. We'll see how well they survive this one, what may be the riskiest stale line grab they've made thus far this season.Comment -
