NFL 2014 Season/Weekly Picks

New member to the forum but have been following various threads across the board for the last 6-12 months. Some very insightful people and as always plenty of trolls . Decided to sign up for the season and join in.

I've worked in the industry for many years so have experience when it comes setting lines etc.

My outright picks have been already placed hence the more fancied prices. I always tip away during the summer months once I make up my mind.

Will be keeping tab on the weekly picks and hopefully yield a nice return on the season. Feel free to follow or to question me on any pick. Best of luck to all on the season, only a few hours away now.

SUPER BOWL XLIX

Each year when picking a team to bet on for the Super Bowl the first thing on the checklist is that they win their division and win it well. Home field advantage in the playoffs has become increasingly important the past few years.

* New England Patriots - (10/1 5units - 9/1 5units)
The Pats looked impressive from what I saw during camp and now their roster depth looks good enough to get them through any tough times bar the unthinkable of losing TB12 again. The group around him now is better and wiser in the offensive system. Back to back conference championship games will stand to these now mature experienced players with a D strengthened which includes Revis Island. All this added to a favorable season schedule will hopefully bring playoff football to Foxborough come January.

* New Orleans Saints - (14/1 3units - 12/1 2units)
I was lucky enough to be on the Saints back in 2009 when everything fell into place for the WHO DAT nation. This is the first time since then that I've been happy with their roster. The balance on offense should be back again with imo a better running tandem of Ingram, Thomas, Robinson & Cadet. Drew Brees may have the best core of receivers to date with various skill players complementing each other. The addition on Brandin Cook is exciting to see in a Peyton/Brees offense. The defense may be the shining light in Louisiana tho, this year they will be more aggressive which will lead to more turnovers and more opportunities for Brees and co to kill games.

I expect both team to makes easy work of their respective divisions and claim bye week spots.

NFC SOUTH - New Orleans Saints

These teams parlayed a couple of weeks ago to win their divisions payed a generous 11/2 which I thought was too good to pass up on. All have been clipped in and I didn't get as much down as I wanted to but still worth a play at 7/2 now.
