why are the Colts favoured in this one? Brees is starting probably the first half and they beat the Colts bad last time out.

Because it is pre-season and any decent team is going to be favored at home. So far, the only away team that has been favored in the it doesn't count season is the Giants at -1, against the Jets. Technically it was a Jets home game, even though they play in the same stadium.
