I usually don't pay attention to trends, but some of these are eye popping. Figured I'd share with you, take it for what its worth. A guy I respect on covers had this to say on the MNF game:
1. Since 2000, road favorites coming off a bye are 57-27-1 67.9% ATS.
2. In the last 10 years, road favorites coming off a bye with the spread between 6-9.5 have covered at an 87.5% clip.
3. Seahawks have faced Aaron Rodgers, Philip Rivers, and Peyton Manning.
4. Last season, their last three QBs they faced were Peyton Manning, Colin Kaepernick, and Drew Brees.
5. In those 6 games against the very best QBs in the NFL, Seahawks D have given up 17.7 PPG.
6. Seattle's only true vulnerability on defense is their pass D vs the tight end. Jordan Reed and Niles Paul are both banged up, although Niles Paul will probably play.
7. Washington has been dreadful on special teams the last few years, while Seattle has ranked near the best.
8. Last year the Seahawks played only two close home games in which they won the game. The following game, they proceeded to beat their opponents (Arizona and Atlanta, two good home teams) by a combined 67-32.
9. Seahawks have won 8 straight games on MNF.
10. Redskins have lost 6 straight on prime time.
