Did anyone see that spot for the raiders? Should have been 1st down by a few yards yet they spotted it a few yards before the 1st. Then of course Oakland can't even convert on 4th lol. What I don't understand is why Shell did not challenge the spot of the ball. I think that stop on 4th cost them the ball game for sure, they could have got a FG atleast out of that drive alone and got some momentum back.

I saw it because I had Oakland +3. That play changed the entire game. He had the first down by atleast 1 yard. Refs also blew a spot for Cleveland later, but that one against Oakland really cost them.

I think Shell was asked in his press conference and he said he was told by the guys up top that it was a legit spot. LOL. They spotted it at the 29.5 yard line, he was clearly on the 28. A good yard and a half off. They don't even take timeout to discuss it or to devise a better run play than what they ran on 4th down. Didn't surprise me though, Oakland is the worst team in football in probably the last 5-10 years. SF sucks also, but the Niners should easily cream the Raiders this weekend.

I think it really did cost them the game, instead of getting that 1st down and getting atleast a FG to tie it up they lost all hope running on 4th down and getting stuffed.

That spot was like 3 yards off. I was enraged when they didn't challenge it. Whoever looks at the replays upstairs for the Raiders needs to be FIRED.

Oh man, I was screaming at the TV. Sure I had Cleveland and everything - but that was not only a huge error by the official - but I agree, whoever is supposed to help Shell challenge plays was asleep and should be fired.

I can't even believe they ran the 4th down play after that as fast as they did.
Bad teams seem to always make bad breaks for themselves.
