    Micheal Sam draft position
I know there is already a thread on Mr. Sam, but I wanted to get some feedback on this line that 5D has.

    The line is:
    over postion 125.5 -210
    under postion 125.5 +160

I am not a gay activist or anything, but I am personally offended by this line. Here are the last SEC defensive players of the year by draft position:

    Year..........Player...............Round .........Postion
    2013.........Micheal Sam..........?................?
    2012.........Jarvis Jones...........1...............17
    2011.........Morris Claiborne.....1................6
    2010.........Patrick Peterson.....1................5
    2009.........Rolando McClain.....1................8
    2008.........Eric Berry.............1................5
    2007.........Glen Dorsey..........1................5
    2006.........Patrick Willis.........1...............11
    2005.........DeMeco Ryans.......2...............33
    2004.........David Pollack........1...............17
    2003.........Chad Lavalias........5..............142

So there was only player drafted even relatively close to that draft position. I was trying to get some input from anyone who has one. Is the line a product of the people's feeling towards homosexuality? Or is it a trap because NFL owners and coaches have the same feelings? I was feeling he would go 32 to the Seahawks. Pete Carroll is no bigot, all he cares about is winning.

He was projecting low before he came out.

Thanks. Do you know his projection before he came out? It would be hard to believe it was as high as fourth round

4.91 in the 40, *17* reps bench. That's real, real bad. Won't be helping matters.

His combine along with his tape leads me to believe he will be drafted quite low. Doesnt have long arms, isnt as fast as some OL, is in the way bottom percentile for strength, and lastly he performed terribly in the one event that showcases athleticism and explosiveness the most; the vert.

He also does not have a great "burst" off the line which is needed in today's DE's. All of this and he is undersized. It will be VERY tough for him to be an impact player at DE in the NFL with his skill set and it will be even tougher to move to OLB. I put money on him going in the 7th round.

Wish him all the best and I am ready to eat crow if he balls out, but the analytic in me just doesnt see it.
