Dallas Cuts Roy Williams (safety)

I'm really shocked with this move. Cutting Owens, I can understand, but a safety like Williams? cmon.

I think this would be a perfect time for Detroit to make a big move on a good defensive player. After allowing 31+ points a game last year, they need defensive players. This is a guaranteed good d-back, and you don't have to worry about if the 40mil you are about to put up, will actually pay off in a 1st round rookie.

Roy Williams has been atrocious the last two years. His nickname in Dallas is pumpfake, cuz play actions and pump-fakes confuse him easily.

Yep, Roy definitely can't cover anything. It's been known for years, ever since Washington came back on Dallas in an early season MNF with Santana Moss catching those two TDs late.

Maybe Detroit can pick him up. But I still think he should focus on being a special teams expert or something. He seems like he'd have the perfect makeup for that. Albeit, that's something that he'd have to want to do.
