He did NOT cry... period... I lost 5 bucks on that wager and my book gladly took it off my account balance ...

It's quite a simple scenario if you bet these props gents.

If he cries, clear as day, they obviously will have to pay out.

If 3 different camera shots do not show him crying, then there is no definitive proof that he did or did not cry and books will either;

A) Pay out on him not crying if they had more money on him to cry, or;

B) Grade this a no bet and refund all bets if they had more money on him not to cry.

It's a sneaky little loophole they have, and unless he definitively cries they are effectively playing with house money as to how they grade it.

Some books will have paid out on him not to cry, and some would have refunded, depending on how much exposure they have on either side.

That doesn't mean he didn't cry at some point. Anyone even questioning the integrity of a book not paying out on this or whether he did or did not cry in terms of a betting result should probably stop betting.

There's betting props, and then there's exposing yourself to a loophole loss, regardless of how much you bet on it.

I saw a prop "Will a member of Red Hot Chili Peppers take their shirt off during their halftime performance?". While I saw half the band appear shirtless, I didn't see any of them actually take their shirt off DURING the performance. There's another example of books being able to expose a loophole and choose to payout on it depending on how much money they have on either side.
