Any thoughts on if the books are putting an artificially low # out there to trap us? I dont see how you could possibly bet the over on this even at 38.5.

We call them turnovers for points.

A couple of PI calls could easily put this over. Plus Carroll has dropped hints of opening up the offensive playbook come Sunday, and letting RW do more with his arm.

Don't see how the total is betable, when you 1) Don't know how conservative or not either team is going to play, and 2) is Kaepernick going to turn the ball over a ton like his last 3 outings at Clink?

Or if Seattle is 'opening up offense' how many turns Russel might have

Stay away from the total. Too low to go under, but has the potential to be a tight Defensive battle.

What the hell are you talking about? How is 40 (40.5 some places) an "artificially low" number if you yourself adamantly point out it would stay under 38.5?

sorry i was confused in my initial post. i meant most people would be betting the under based on the two teams defensive capabilities and the books know the game has a good chance to have a total higher than the average joe would think so they made the total a really low # to trap the under bettors. hopefully that makes more sense.

Under at 40 seems good to me. How about Under 21 at half? Buy a point or half?

You can't buy points on 1st Half lines.

At 5Dimes you can. If you like the under you can buy it as high as 23.5 at -241.
