The closest thing to work to this that I've seen is someone who would start off with $100 and bet on heavy favorites (-300 plus odds) and keep going all in till they reached $1,000

I believe there is still a thread on here somewhere about that

Yeah, a person can definitely take $50 and make it into $1,000, but its usually going to take longer than a week and you probably do need to just bet on ML favorites. Bet on games that you should win, not point spreads that can go either way. Or, at least put together parlays where you tease points.

Its just way to hard to hit 4 games in a row betting point spreads.
