Subtle but important detail: I said "easy pick for me, personally." As in, I'm not struggling to cap this one and make a pick. I'm not torn. I know others are saying this one is very difficult and others are just playing it safe and making it a no-play, but it's an easy decision for me, personally. 49ers.

This is a fallacy. Bad picks are no worse than a coin flip long term. You might as well flip a coin and then fade that.

That said, I agree with Potentate on this one. Some games are like this, people either love one side or the other.

Don't act like I went on and on about motivation. Like I said, it's an overrated angle, especially in the NFL playoffs, but it's an angle to analyze nonetheless. If it makes you feel better, replace "motivation" with heart, desire, whoever wants it more, or toughness, or whatever you like.
