Ross Benjamin: Play Bengals -10
Game Time: 9/17/2006 1:00:00 PM (EST)
By: Ross Benjamin
The Bengals should treat their fans in Cincinnati today with an easy win over their cross-state rivals the Cleveland Browns.
The Cleveland Brown’s offensive line is still a mess and this will be one of the key contributing factors to a one-sided Cincinnati win.
The Bengals will be able to move the ball and score at will versus the Cleveland defense. Cleveland does not have the firepower on offense to go blow-for-blow with the Bengals. The Browns managed just 14 points in their home opener versus a very porous New Orleans offense.
Cleveland is bound to be playing from behind in this game. When that happens, the combination of inexperienced Charlie Frye at quarterback and a shaky offense line will spell disaster.
The Browns are 1-5 ATS in their last six games as an away division underdog.
