#3Take the ML & spread both, it's called diversifying. I also grab 1Q, 2Q, 1H and in-game betting to help manage risk.Comment -

#7i am deathly afraid of anquan boldin but i have too much faith in rodgers. i dont even care who they have on defense as long as they have cobb, rodgers jordy nelson and lacy they have a shot. cobb is arguably the most dangerous offensive weapon in the league.Comment -

#849ers@Packers, tickets still available.
Hilarious. For a GB team that prides itself on fan loyalty, they can't sell out a home playoff game with the 49ers coming to town. Packers fans know in their heart it'll be a bloodbath and can't bear to watch. 49ers fans are buying them up and so much for a home field advantage for a rusty collarbone Rodgers.Comment -

#9Taking the ML is just plain stupid. Why take minus money? Give the 2 1/2 points IF you are going to take San Fran. Another 2 1/2 point line. Hmmmmm.Comment -

#17Weather going to be a huge impact Sunday. Just heard on tv it could be one of the coldest games in Lambeau history with game time temps hovering close to 0 and dropping as the game goes. Usually temperature isn't much of an impact, but when it's THAT COLD, it could, particularly a team from California who is not used to it. Sunday night low is -16.Comment -

#18No way. Niners may win but it is not a gift. They have been stale all season. QB sophomore slump. They may win but it is not a gift by any means. Take Indy FTWComment -

#20I'm not sure if the weather will really give either team an edge.
Cold weather hurts a team's passing game (neutralizes edge for Rodgers a little) and hurts kicking game (hurts both teams).
Cold weather can give an advantage to the team with the better run game. (don't think either team gains an edge here).
Snow/slippery surfaces helps the offense (gives edge to both teams), but also favors line play (GB actually performing better here.)
Two things that will affect this game much more than cold and snow: Wind and injuries.
As a 49ers fan, I'm worried because this will be tough for the Niners if Rodgers is going to be playing in MVP mode. And if every single thing is equal between the teams but I had to pick one team the cold weather favors, it has to be the Packers. Although in this game, I really don't think it will give either team a substantial edge.
As bettors, we should really forget about the cold weather (but not the wind) and be looking at long-term trends throughout the whole season (and injuries).Comment -
