I can't relay the importance of this huge game for me and my life.. I was in Vegas for 2 days earlier this week. I made 1 humongous play and finally sharing it for all the world to see. I had this planned since my lovely new bride handed me 2 tickets to the Eagles game in Dallas tonight. I brought all my savings, and cashed out with my guy on Monday morning and believe me when I walked up to the window at the sports book here in Vegas I could barely breathe and speak.. I stutter already when I talk but I handed the women behind the counter Eighty 100 dollar bills and bet the Philadelphia Eagles -7. I know the line was -2.5 but once it was reported that Romo wasn't playing the line shot up. I have never ever bet a favorite giving more than 3 points in the last 8 years in the NFL. This play is warranted and I don't mind giving the Cowboys a touchdown cushion. This is a once in a lifetime moment for me and my team. I know my team better than anyone out there and if you call me a homer.. not so fast.. as I mentioned last weekend. I have bet the Eagles 3 times all year.. Redskins on that opening Monday Night, ML...winner, the Lions snowball game.. winner and last week at home against the Bears.. winner. Tonight is my 4th wager in 16 games.. that's called being a smart capper and knowing when to capitalize on a given situation. Enjoy the game and my amazing play! Sammy will set the betting world on notice this night .

Sammy, I've enjoyed what posts of yours I've read in the short time I've been a member at SBR, and wish you well with the new bride, but it's posts like this that keep me coming back for sure. Although moves like throwing down the life savings on a single bet may have a little to do with why 8k is all that was available, I love it. (we can only hope she does too) You definitely broke some cardinal rules of the lifelong gambler, no big Monday morning bets in Vegas has always been one of mine. But as rules are really just strong suggestions, enforced subjectively, the strategic, sober decision to ignore them is often rewarded greatly.

Had to step away a bit and just got back to the computer and game. Philly 10-0 early in the 2nd!! Glad I took your confidence as a good enough reason to bet the Eagles too. Good luck to you an yours
