Think about this before you bring in your Geno Smith, Terrell Pryor and such.

The man has been in the league for the past 5 years. He has a cannon for an arm and the BEST WR.
And he throws picks like there is no tomorrow. Does he have trouble reading Defenses? Is there something wrong with his mechanics? But really, he has regressed.

And he gets paid like a superstar.

Would be the worse in terms of what he is getting paid. The worse QB in the league though, maybe Top 3 worse and could be number 1 in that list.

Agree he is way overrated but guys like Sheli and Brees have plenty of weapons and Super Bowl rings despite having seasons where they throw a ton of picks. I think he's a 12-15 guy but certainly many worse Qb's in the league starting. When you think about it probably 2/3 of starters in the league are just an injury away from losing their job to some upstart that can come in and reel off a couple wins while playing good. Cutler was just in a similar spot and was losing his mind watching his stock drop in a contract year.

Only thing for Cutler is for years, he never had a good line to protect him. If he has time to throw, he is money. Stafford. NOPE. He has all day and still throws picks.

Oh I agree Cutler has amazing talent and that's why he did not lose his job. Although I do think he's reached his ceiling not sure he's a guy that's going to reel of a bunch of playoff wins but he kinda has that Farve, Romo thing with the gunslinger approach. Just saying if you are not one of the elite or at least a top 10 guy with a track record you are an injury away from a Foles coming in going 4-1 while putting up #'s and you are out of a starting gig. Seen it happen to better Qb's than Stafford how bout Bledsoe for starters!

Agree with that, unless you get hardware. I am laughing hard about Flacco. Seriously, he had talent around him, but honestly, IMO average at best. But he won a SB.

Yeah Flacco, Ryan, Eli, Cutler are just a few I put on the list that are that on that next tier down from great/elite. Funny how things work at times. For instance if Eli does not pull an Elway on draft day and winds up with the Turner/Smith mess he does not have two rings. And while he is a flake Rivers from a pure talent standpoint is above Eli and could have got the job done in NY with that defense, receivers, Coughlin. Shit happens!

Yup, could of been worse. Could of went to Oakland. Just joking, but Oakland needs help. I am always seeing Pryor running around with no protection. I am wondering if management even cares about their product.

Damn who knows about Oak it's so frustrating this is our worst stretch by far in 50+ years. Just waiting for that right situation to come around again like Gruden/Gannon. Watched that 30/30 several months back on 83 draft and it just made me sick all ov again. Had a shot possibly at Elway and certainly could have taken Marino. Then you do the math after the 83 season is when our dynasty collapsed from round 85-98 we were bad/average all those years till Chuckie/Gannon arrived. Would have been so sweet to have one of those guys fill that gap it would have done even more for our legacy. I was 6 when the draft happened but been watching nfl since 85 and been a Raider fan since 89 so I have seen the mediocre, great, terrible and still a fan! And we missed ARodg a several years back as well, Brady many times ov but who didn't? Lol

When you go back thru time though there is always one constant that = winning for the most part. Dilfer /Flacco aside haha it takes a great Qb in the right system with a great coach and supporting cast = Lombardi hoist! If you have those guys cherish them cause they don't come around often.
