understood that meaning. however, the term was also used to refer to soldiers in the british and canadian armoured forces that were used on the frontlines with artillery guns and only had thin leather helmets and made shite pay in direct comparison with the amount they lost their lives. they faced some of the harshest conditions and were under constant artillery barrage. their helmets looked like they had zippers but they didn't. they were considered disposable and not worth anything because any idiot could be a zipper head cuz nobody wanted to do it with the death-rates, shell-shock rates, deafening rates, terrible weather exposure, lack of sleep and nutrition whilst even infantry men were tented up and sleeping, armoured soldiers were holding watch and taking artillery fire. they mostly didn't return and if they did, they were poor and mentally and spiritually broken. b-power is a fellow canuck from around my way so i am just making sure that ck7 isn't making a reference that can start a fukking war, no pun intended.
