The Seahawks looked unbeatable on Monday night at home with cold weather and crowd noise in the stadium, definitely had a effect on Drew Brees. Seahawks however don,t need this the game, they have already clinched there division and bye. But however they can never quite rest easy in the NFC race until the 49ers are out of it. While Seattle has been at its best all season, San Francisco is trying to find its Super Bowl stride late. The return of Michael Crabtree to boost Colin Kaepernick is a huge help. Michael Crabtree will definitely have affect Seahawks' D. Colin Kaepernick has 56.7 completion percentage is 31st in the league; his 185.2 passing yards per game is 21st and his 11 turnovers are five more than he had all of last year. Kaepernick has been sacked 11 times in the last three games. They need this game a little more then hawks to secure their playoff chances in a tight wild-card race, San Francisco should turn in their best performance of the season against the hawks at home. The Seahawks are third in the NFL in rushing yards and first in passing defense, should be a hell of a challenge for the San Francisco 49ers. San Francisco needs to get physical enough to take advantage of the Seahawks coming off a short week. This is a bigger game for the 49ers than Seattle, I have to give the 49ers the edge!!!. J.J. Bacasus[Blue Card] I personal think its best in NFL ratings has this game higher with San Francisco 49ers -5 My Prediction: 49ers 24. Seahawks 20. San Francisco 49ers -2 1/2 Mr.Hårr¥THëHÄT

Your right my mistake RavensFan2K3. This article is from the bleacher report:"With Monday's win, Seattle was the first team in the NFL this season to clinch a spot in the playoffs. Seahawks currently have a three-game lead on the second-place San Francisco 49ers with just four games to play. All Seattle has to do is win next week on the road in San Francisco and the Seahawks will clinch the division and secure a home game in the playoffs. If the Seahawks lose? things get a little more interesting in the division. Seattle would also essentially lose the tiebreaker to the 49ers as well. The only scenario they could end up in a tie with the 49ers would involve the Seahawks losing at least one other divisional games prior to the end of the season, so the 49ers would have the better record inside the NFC West".The Seahawks currently hold a two-game lead over both the New Orleans Saints and the Carolina Panthers, which are the only other teams that could take the No. 1 seed away from the Seahawks Mr.Hårr¥THëHÄT

I have to admit Joey you might be right. The hawks are good, no need to disrespect what the Niners are about. The Seattle plan in my option against the Niners is clog the run and force Kaepernick to throw the ball. Well Ladies and Gentlemen of the jury!!! Seattle's secondary will have to focus on shutting down Boldin, Crabtree and Vernon Davis. Well in my option will not happen? It will force the Seahawks secondary to play a more straight-up scheme. I see lot of penalty's for Seattle in there secondary, could make the difference in this match-up. Seattle is number #2-95 behind tampa bay #1-98. The Niners are #16 with 77 in penalty's. Don,t forget the home town referee's Joey!!!! //LOL/LOL. Good luck Joey on your picks and bets this week. Mr.Hårr¥THëHÄT

If the two-time reigning division champion 49ers (8-4) can’t beat the Seahawks (11-1) at home today, they will certainly have a far more daunting task of trying to beat them in Seattle if the teams meet again in the NFC playoffs.
