Seattle could lose this game and still be in the driver's seat for homefied, it's a short week, they just had a playoff like game so even though it's a division rival there could be some let down. The 49ers need this game just to keep themselves in the playoffs. I would definitely not go huge but I could see why people like the 49ers especially with Crabtree, Aldon Smith, Manningham, and Davis all healthy now.

Seattle's absences in their secondary will really hit hard next week. I like this play too. A LOT.

The Niners need this game, both for their playoff aspirations and confidence. They got trounced by Seattle the last two times they played them. All signs point to S.F. coming out guns ablazing. I'll be betting them, probably not huge though.

The truth of the matter is that you cannot over-react after just one game. SEA was coming off a bye week and Russell Wilson had never lost at home in his career. Many people will be all over SEA next wk, thinking that they are unstoppable.

SEA is not a good road team. SF will make a run towards the end of the season winning the last six games. SF will not lose at home next wk.

SF -2.5 is huge.

This Secondary is the best I have seeen in 13 years.. please tell me how kapernick even comes close to Russell Wilson ?? ROTFLMFAO Frank Gore doesnt compare to marshawn lynch.. 49ers tight ends and wr are superior to Seahwaks

Seahawks secondary is unreal and can cover Davis, Boldin and crabtree

49ers are 31st in passing yards in the NFL.....someone had to at least mention it. Also, aren't a couple people out on the 49ers O-Line. Like their pro bowlers Joe Staley and Mike Iupati? Looking at their depth chart they really don't have anyone to replace them either....

Those two linemen being out is definitely a valid concern. The passing woes, I think, are largely attributable to the absence of Crabtree and Manningham for much of the year. It's hard to go huge on a team minus Staley and Iupati, and facing the Seattle D.

Leaning Niners based on some pretty simple principles. IMO, you can't take anything from either team. They're both very good and match up pretty well. They're both dealing with some injuries and missing personnel. Comes down to the Seahawks having to travel on a short week to play a bitter rival, who arguably has more at stake in the game, and possibly suffering a let down after a huge emotional win on Monday night.
