#4Yes they are predicting temperatures in low 30's and rainy or possibly snow. I better dress up for the game tomorrow.Originally posted by romoneySea ML is the only Play i would make...isn't the forecast rainy and cold? #7I listen to the "Behind the Bets" podcast every week with a Vegas SB manager and he says Sun/Mon/Thu night games the over is usually inflated around 3-5 points because so much public $$ comes in the overs. An interesting thing I've learned listening to this show is that the books don't really try to pick the game. They try to pick where 50% of the $$ will come in on each side.Originally posted by tokioToo many people on the OVER. Thats Vegas's open coffin...Comment -

#8I am from seattle but I would like to not consider myself a homer. I bet the colts against the hawks and I plan on betting the 49ers against them next week. I would like to think that coming from Seattle I know the extent of that team better than most gamblers. Take it as you will but I have some on the spread, and the over.
At either rate, I guess we will see tomorrow?Comment -

#11Yeah, the weather is forecasted to be awful for tomorrow. Thankfully the weather is usually awful here so it probably won't affect the Seahawks at all. It may affect the Saints but I don't see it's impact here being gamebreaking.
Tomorrow:
High of 42, chance of rain 80%. Low during the night projected at 30 with a 10% chance of snow.Comment -

#15You honestly believe seattle's defense is good enough to keep New Orleans and their offense out of the end zone the entire game? Great call if you're right but I doubt it.Originally posted by matt1216Ya I see a 20-6 win by seattleComment -

#16since Wilson was drafted in 2012:
Seahawks at Home
The 3 non covers, they were favs of -11, -12, and -15.5.13-0-0 (17.92, 100.0%) 10-3-0 (11.31, 76.9%) avg line: -6.6
Seahawks vs Conference opp since Wilson (Reg season)
4 losses were all road games, Week 8 last season vs the Lions was the last time Seahawks were beaten by an NFC team. Thats 12 straight regular season wins vs conference. Just thought i'd share some.15-4-0 (11.05, 78.9%) 13-6-0 (7.53, 68.4%) avg line: -3.5 Comment -

#17^ while those are impressive stats for Wilson, I believe those stats are irrelevant against this years Saints. They have Sean Payton back this year.Comment -

Over is 7-0 in Saints last 7 games following a bye week.
In the past 14 seasons, that extra week of preparation and rest has doomed seahawks bettors to a 2-11-1 ats run.
It's a weird trend and hard to explain, but sometimes you have to get out of the way of a trend like this. Saints lead the regular season series 6-5.
The over is 12-1 in 13 recent games for seattle after a bye week. When seattle hosts an NFC south team, the past five have also played over. Hope this helps some of you playing the over under tonight.
