Quick question on Prop bets and their lines.
Hey, kinda new to this, or at least not as educated about how lines are set so I was hoping one of you would know.

Why is it that on many sites (5dimes is where Im at), many of the prop bets aren't set as -115 v -115? For instance, tonight in the Dal/NO game, the line for Dez Bryant having 89.5 receiving yards is set with the over being at +100 and the under at -130. Why don't they change the amount of yards to get a -115 for each?

I mean sometimes it is a really wide gap on a bet I would like to make but the odds offered are so skewed that it's not worth making it. For instance, DeMarco Murray receiving yds is at -150/+120. I get the wide gap when it comes to things like touchdowns but couldn't they adjust the number of yards in order to make the line more even i.e. setting the Dez yardage line to maybe 81 instead of 89 in order to close the gap?

Not sure why it bugs me so much but it does. I'm sure there is a simple answer to it (just too much trouble to sites to alter all the prob bets for every single game maybe?) Thanks!
