am i missing something here? mcgown looked phenomenal last week in a road win at gb (obviously rodgers out helped get the W)....but hes a more then capable NFL QB/at home and versus a bad pass defense....

on top of this, we have a revenge angle at play with chi losing at det earlier in the year.

i feel like this should be pounded, but perhaps im missing something...

Did you not see what the lions D line did to Cutler in game 1? I know the score says like 41-32 or some shit, but that game was over at halftime. Chicago scored like 2 garbage tds in the last 5 min.

being a det fan you gotta notice their offense not as efficient on the road and those pass rushers certainly benefit from the crowd noise and the fast track when playing at home...cutler made mistakes early and that gm got away, final score was def a product of garbage time in a way but also was a indicator of what bears big wrs can do vs lions secondary.. last 3 meetings bears have rushed for 131, 144, and 171 vs det, cant even find a gm in last 5 years bears didnt rush for over 100 and with the way that front likes to get up the field id expect tressman who a very good offensive mind to have plenty of ways to exploit that with forte.. ..

my concern with the bears has nothing to do with det d and everything to do with theirs, they wernt playing typical bear defense before they were decimated up the middle with injuries and since have been getting bitch slapped between the tackles repeatedly by power runs as they dont hold up great at point of attack and the safties look border line retarded at times, i have no doubt det can run on chi, what would worry me as a det fan (or backer) is while they should take adv of this all day you know this team, they rather pass and not like they got the smartest coach in the world..

to me the no brainer play is tease bears to +8.5 while you still can and relax as i think it close either way.. maybe sprinkle the ml just cause i think they really close and im still not a big buyer of det on the road..
