INDIANAPOLIS +3½ Not sure on the Dallas one, I think that Dallas will win the game but just not sure by how much. Dallas' pass defense is giving up yards but I like the linebackers stuffing the rush, which seems like that all Min has on offense. 2 cents.

Teasing totals generally a bad idea

Teasing totals and teasing across the 0 even to get to over +3 in the long run will cost you. Tease home favorites down to under 3 or home dogs to over +10. Simple and profitable rule. People are stubborn, even if you hit, you will lose in the long run doing totals and crossing the 0.

true enough Deol, i know the general rule of not crossing 0 on teasers I would never really do that but in this game I personally see KC winning but the lines at -3 and if they lose with there defense i see it being by 3 or less so +3 is a comfortable number to add into a 2 team teaser for me.

TBH not a fan of any of these. Bills are dangerous, an early turnover and we get to see just how good the chiefs are at playing from behind in enemy territory. The falcons are up and down and have the potential to be scary, but that should still hit. Not sure where you're getting that line though, unless thats a 5pt tease you're getting screwed. If it's 5, I kinda want a piece of KC -2.

Ravens coming off the bye could still beat up Cle, and Dallas could fail to cover as AP starts to get going coming back from his son's death- Dal performed well enough without Murray last week, but Romo was very off the week before.

but noleaf i understand your points but personally i dont really see how the panthers cant cover a FG over the falcons, there defense will be to much to handle and i think the offense is really starting to find its groove, falcons defense is terrible and they wont be able to play catch up with the panthers defense on the field. The KC over bills one is pretty sketchy but i cant really see them losing by over 3 even if they somehow do lose. Im staying away from browns and cowboys right now tho, they play to up and down for my liking.

There are nearly never any ties in the NFL, so the -.5, 0, +.5 are worthless. The other side of the argument is the 3 is important, but you're not getting nearly as much on the push charts as you would with a Wong teaser (crossing 3/7), because the 4 and 6 are also worth a decent amount comparatively.

Thats basically the discussion, should look up some push charts before considering non-standard teasers, but also be willing to say why you see numbers more likely or less likely to land in a particular game if it's reasoned thinking.
